The story of Le Bazaar began 11 years ago when Dris and Bernard met in New York City. Both natives of the South of France, and both having worked for the biggest names in the industry, in Paris, In New York, and in London, they hit it off instantly, matching experience for experience, skill for skill, style for style – vision for vision.
The individual vision they brought to each other turned out to be a shared vision: to create a unique salon that offers world-class luxury services designed to bring out the natural beauty of every client within an environment that is beautiful itself.
Le Bazaar offers luxury service with a bohemian chic vibe. The loft like space feels like a sexy Soho loft in New York, or a grand café in Paris mixed with the relaxed spirit that is… Palm Beach.
Beyond great styling services and architectural design, Le Bazaar provides a unique and comfortable atmosphere that includes an authentic full service bar which offers everything from early morning espresso with fresh croissants to the best cocktail time bubbly, an evolving collection of artwork and photography from trips around the world taken by Dris or Bernard or artists they follow, and collection of books on fashion, travel, art and design. All things that drive and inspire Dris and Bernard are infused into the vibe and energy of the salon.

Like most kids growing up in the South of France, Dris aspired to be a professional soccer player.
During summer vacation, that dream quickly changed when he and his best friend, "for fun only," accepted positions at a famous hair salon in his home town. Fernand Olive is the man who changed everything for Dris. After four years of training with Fernand, Dris became one of the 5 top stylists in France and part of the French National Team. What was once “ for fun only” had now become his passion and profession.
After much success and recognition representing France, Dris elevated his career to the next level by moving to Paris. There he collaborated with amazing professionals including: Ottombrino, Jean Saberny, and Jaques Dessange. His talents were showcased on many photo shoots and fashion shows for some of the top designers in the beauty and fashion industries.
The next step on Dris journey……. New York! Frederic Fekkai offered him a job at his flagship salon located in the Chanel building. Here he met Bernard. After one year, Frederic recognized Dris as a leader and offered him a position at his new Palm Beach salon. Dris and Bernard both relocated to Palm Beach, where these two extremely talented artists became fast friends, inseparable in their shared personal experiences, inseparable in their commitment to professional excellence, and inseparable in their vision for the perfect client experience in style and styling.
After many great years of learning and perfecting his craft, Dris, along with Bernard, decided it was time for them to start a new chapter in their personal and professional lives and in the world of style…….Le Bazaar.
Bernard Arapaglou, one of the world’s most trusted and talented stylists, was born in Marseille France, where he also debuted his career. He later moved to Paris to work at Jean Louis David International Salon, where he quickly built his reputation in the fashion industry collaborating with prestigious designers such as: Christian Dior, YSL, Chanel, Jean Paul Gautier. Bernard has also worked with renowned editorial stylists, Michael Aleman, Odile Gilbert, and JC Gallon.
After building strong relationships with some of the most influential leaders in the beauty and fashion industries, he was named Creative Director of Maison Carita in both Paris and Cannes. Continuing his journey, at the age of 30 he moved to New York to work at Frederic Fekkai. After 12 years with Fekkai, 7 of them as Creative Director of the Palm Beach salon, Bernard wanted a venue to express his “own vibes." He then partnered with his long time friend Dris to open Le Bazaar.
Beyond his passion for hair, style, design, and music - and making women feel beautiful - Bernard is an adrenalin junkie who loves to race motorcycles, surf, and travel. He believes that everything you do outside of your craft adds to your vision of the world and ultimately turns your craft into art.
Through his authentic and unlimited approach to styling and boundless passion for life, Bernard continues to discover new ways to keep the women ever more beautiful, and just as important, feeling ever more beautiful. Bernard is not just the master of his craft. He is also the artist of the beautiful.
Giavanna’s discerning eye and love for style and fashion developed at an early age. She started her professional career as a hair designer and stylist in New York, where she collaborated with some of the industries most respected and talented stylists and colorists.
Now bringing her passion and artistry to Palm Beach, Giavanna joins the Le Bazaar team as a stylist and event specialist. She is known for her effortless textured haircuts and un-done natural looks. She takes pride in going above and beyond with each of her clients to ensure that each haircut is specifically designed for the clients’ hair type, facial structure, and style.
Gia has showcased her talent and style with editorial work for Balmain, Alice Olivia Collection, and Brandon Maxwell Campaigns. She has also styled top models, Joan Smalls, Winnie Harlow, Cindy Bruna, and Imaan Hammam.
When Giavanna is not in the salon with her clients she enjoys gardening, volunteering at animal shelters, and taking on new projects.
As an artist, Giavanna is constantly researching the latest trends, reading, developing new skills, and finding inspiration in applying her next level of expertise to her clients’ personal needs and requests. This devotion to her craft and her clients over the years has allowed her to cultivate a special bond with each and every one she works with.
Born and raised in the South of France, Julian discovered his artistic side at an early age, along with a passion for flying, music, and sports. In 1998, Julian made his first trip to the United States and fell in love with the country. He knew he would return one day to pursue his dreams.
A few years later Julian returned to San Francisco to visit family, it was during this trip he made the decision to stay and make his American dream come true. While living in San Francisco, Julian’s love for music and the arts brought him on a trip to Burning Man, where his path crossed the one of Dris and Bernard. They became friends instantly.
Julian is known for his ability to create versatile looks from sophisticated, to beachy, or edgy trends. His sharp attention to detail and love for voluptuous waves has enabled him to perfect a flawless blow-dry that is long lasting and will have you looking like you’ve come straight of the runway.
Julian exudes a Mediterranean hospitality that warms anyone who sits in his chair. His eye for hair design in combination with his unique charisma assures that each client obtains a personal experience that makes them feel incredibly beautiful.
Originally from New York, Chrissy joined the Le Bazaar team as a Colorist in October of 2014. Chrissy recognized her passion and talent for color at the age of 14, assisting her grandmother in their hometown salon. She feels that being a colorist is in her genes.
After graduating cosmetology school, Chrissy honed her craft by attending several advanced academies in NYC, including the Bumble and Bumble university, the Aveda Academy, and the Redken Exchange.
As Creative Director of the Le Bazaar color team, Chrissy has created her own innovative style of coloring using the balayage method. Fusing individual colors into unique shades that range from a sun-soaked blond to a rich chocolate brown. Chrissy has worked continually to enrich her skills and enhance her unique artistic ability at mixing color formulas to produce shades complimentary to individual skin tone, facial features, and individual style. This enables her to strategically place color and highlights in a way that ensures the utmost fresh and natural look.
With her warm personality, keen eye, and creative ability, Chrissy is the person to turn to for crafting a unique look tailored to every client’s style and personality.
Kim, originally from New Jersey Joined the team at Le Bazaar in October 2020.
Kim spent most of her career at a Paul Mitchell salon in NJ, training under Paul Mitchell’s artistic Director, Colin Caruso.
Starting off as both stylist and colorist Kim developed a love for color and has been perfecting her craft for the past 10 years.
Not only is Kim passionate for hair color however she previously spent five years as a makeup artist with MAC.
When Kim is not at the salon with her clients she finds inspiration in the great outdoors, as a lover of animals and nature Kim finds beauty and inspiration anywhere she may be.
Kim with her passion for color, attention to detail and pure natural talent, captures the subtle nuances of one’s energy in order to create a signature, indefinable look.
